The Pukka Peacock – Brislington’s soon to be, Indian Inspired, family run restaurant, is NOW recruiting! Woohoo! 🙌
We promise, we’re not ageist (chef Dhayalan and his wife, Saritha, are way over the hill, yet, steadily and purposefully up the next one ;-)), but this particular role commands:-
* A young, dynamic, adaptable, positive and proactive person (18 & above)
* With a definite Interest and flair for cooking; and a keenness to learn the hard skills and mindset, that goes with being a successful chef, cum restauranter. Basically, an eagerness to learn the ropes of what ALL it takes to be in a kitchen and restaurant space; one that only aims to give its guests, the best possible dining and takeaway experience, each and every time.
* Prior experience in this field is not a necessity, but the ATTITUDE, interest and drive to get stuck in, is a must have! This will ensure it’s a win-win relationship; just the kind we want to nurture with and for, all of us on the team
* Flexibility and the ability to be in the moment and do just about any task the business demands at that time — (as long as Dhayalan and Saritha are doing it too :))
* Kitchens are known to be high pressure environments, specially during service, aren’t they! So if you believe you can cope well, and turn the pressure into peak performance, just the way Dhayalan does, then you’ve got one foot in the door already;-)
* Most of all, we’re on the hunt for an open-minded, hardworking, pleasant and respectful human, who is looking for a career path or a job they would love to go to — on time, every time!
From our end, we’ll make sure you’re one on the team, playing to achieve some amazing feats together, and loving each day of the journey… After all, it’s what we want for ourselves too! 🌈
