Near Death Experiences and Related Experiences:

NDE  stands for “ Near Death Experience”, and is something that numerous individuals have experienced, and for each event, comparing one with another, they are amazingly so similar that it is difficult not to believe that the experience is a real event!

Basically, it may be a dream or a wakeful event, and it involves a journey…initially one is making their way along a dark tunnel, towards a light, as if one is making their way out of a cave. When the end is reached, you step out into the light to an amazing scene maybe of a building of dazzling architecture, and the voice of someone addresses you, but you cannot see the owner of that voice. You may be encouraged to follow the voice as it invites you to go on a journey into further realms of things that have happened in your memory. All the views encountered are beautiful, and your whole demeanour is of happiness, with the feeling that you would be happy to stay there.

That basically is a simplified view of NDE  and is structured in the way expressed that makes every experience so similar. Having experienced that event, one will have had to return to normal life in order to relate it, and that is the last part of the experience when the ‘voice’ states that “You have to go back”, and you re-enter the tunnel from which you came, and all   the way to the beginning, and re-consciousness or wakefulness or “Day-Dream” scenario! Virtually every recipient of such an event is usually moved or changed in their reaction to what had happened during the time it was processing, and that one would feel that they want to relate it to someone, to tell of the profound impact it had made, and the beautiful experiences encountered, having met loved ones passed! Also, the belief that this would be what one would travel into at death, and that they would begin a new existence where they would remain for always!

Having related the experience to someone…family or friend or associate, the reaction to
such an account is generally automatically met with a modicum of disbelief or suspicion.
This is a normal reaction, because anything expressed to another is of a verbal nature, and
there is no concrete evidence of what you know  happened.

In a similar way, when commonly someone is undergoing surgery, they become aware while under anaesthetic coma, that they feel that they have left their body, and drifted upwards to ceiling level, looking downwards at the event, with the surgeon(s) carrying out their work to rectify some surgical need in their body, and then afterwards regaining consciousness, relating with extreme accuracy all the manipulations and actions made by the medics in the operating theatre…giving descriptions of actions made that would not have been possible for the patient to have observed, even if they had been conscious. Such an event was experienced by my own daughter, while undergoing surgery for a life threatening condition, and the head surgeon during the operation was someone she had not seen before, and was now visible operating on her.

When she returned to the ward, this new surgeon came in to talk to my daughter, and
introduced herself by surname, and my daughter said: “You are Brenda!” This amazed the surgeon, who said: “We have never met, how did you know my Christian name?” My daughter then explained that she was hovering over the operating table, watching what was going on, and that the other medics referred to her by her Christian name during the operation!

This kind of evidence is irrefutable and has all the proof of what actually happened. There are many, many, many, examples of such events, and coupled with the NDE  events, because of the similarity of movements and dialogue, point quite strongly to the view that there is a “Consciousness” existing within ourselves that is not generally known to exist, and gives the impression that this ‘Consciousness’ is there all of the time, and possibly represents the spiritual person or soul within! Of course, it cannot by any known process be proven to be there, and there is written evidence of what it may be in the Christian Bible, and Jesus Christ, during His time on Earth went through a process that touches on the existence of this hidden spirit within ourselves.

Jesus came to us by means of the Holy Spirit and the “Virgin” Mary, and because of who He is, His human embodiment transformed from the spiritual to the physical form that we all know! At the end of His time on Earth, there were occasions when He moved through transitions not normal for humans, and was able to become re-enlivened when murdered on the cross by the Romans. This ability has not been given to us to control, although there are some who have died, but revived by application of an appropriate remedy. So Christ went from life to death and back to life, then to a final spiritual existence to everlasting life, and this existence has been promised to us also, and that’s where NDE is apparently pointing us, showing us that this promise is ‘true’!

There is always a reason why some things are denied for us to know, and are so denied for our own good and peace of mind…for instance, we don’t generally know when we are going to die, for to know such a time would be really stressful, and to be able to deal with that might not be in our own interest.

To experience NDE  is a special experience, because of the peace of mind accompanying the event, and the relaxed and peaceful handling of the after- thoughts are pleasant, and acceptable! This event also, by virtue of its reality, changes the For further information, refer to the video available on YouTube by Dr Jeffrey Long, who has researched this subject for many years:
